I came across this site set up by the Church of England called A Church Near You recently. It uses google maps. Using the link below I managed to find out the Latitude and Longitude for the Cambray Building. I am sure there are easier ways to find this information, readers please let me know. The advantage over a post code (UK version of US zip codes) generated google map or the like, is that it pinpoints the church building exactly.
Tim Hyde of Livingos has created a google map with the St Helens ( UK) Churches on it. it uses a google wordpress plugin, which I believe Tim created . The site is called Shine.org.uk. These mapping ideas obviously have great scope for google and others. I reckon with some thought there is a use for churches on a variety of levels including Cambray

Cambray Latitude: 51.89895240691636
Cambray Longitude:-2.0734333992004394
Map Link to Cambray using this information.
It is interesting that this map link points to a slightly different place than with the A Church near you site.

Someone might like to link this into http://www.placeopedia.com, which is a general repository for location-based data. (I’d do it myself, but I’m sure you’d have more ideas for what should be included…)
