Today , Saturday 10th March I went to a website seminar organised for Christians in Gloucester. I was pleasantly surprised to see two people from Cambray there as well.
There were seminars on Joomla a free opensource management system as well as Search engine optimisation , basic intro to building a Christian website, first steps. Moving on, there were [...]

I created a link from the weekly what’s on in the week of Dec 11th 2006  at Cambray page to a  Cambray Google  Calendar . Google Calendar is beta, or still being tested out. One of the curious things I noticed that the map links from the calendars are ok when I am signed [...]

I came across this site set up by the Church of England called A Church Near You recently. It uses google maps. Using the link below I managed to find out the Latitude and Longitude for the Cambray Building. I am sure there are easier ways to find this information, readers please let me know. [...]

It is nearly there.
It will be the first time I have been at the front of the Church speaking in many, many years . True, I have been up singing with a few others many times  and maybe a few times reading from the Bible, but leading the intercessory prayer never in my memory.
I am [...]

Time management

One of the areas I need to know more about is how much time I allocate to the development and maintenance of the Church Website.
Most of the posts here will be of a personal or private nature.

I wanted to separate the “brochure side” i.e. the fixed pages like: where we are and when we meet etc.,  from the changing pages or posts which are things like who is preaching or teaching this Sunday or what is the prayer focus this week.
I needed to look for a site template or theme in [...]
